Our Mission
"We had salad mixed with microgreens, we had hummus mixed with microgreens…crackers, cheese grapes and ham. I’m usually picky about my food but it was really good."
-Shante , Youth microgreen program participant
SOW FOR CHANGE
Who We Serve
We prioritize underrepresented communities, offering programs that help children, families, and individuals grow their own food. We’re proud to work with organizations like Baltimore City Recreation and Parks and Baltimore County Public Library to make a direct impact.

Why We Do It
Our goal is to combat food insecurity by teaching people to grow their own nutritious food. By empowering communities with the skills to grow microgreens, we aim to foster a healthier, more sustainable future for all.

How We Do It
Through workshops, educational programs, and community projects, we teach people of all ages how to grow microgreens. We focus on accessibility and sustainability, partnering with schools, libraries, and community centers to spread microgreen farming to underserved areas.

Programs For Youth
We partner with youth organizations to bring microgreen education to youth.

Community Workshops
We offer hands-on workshops for adults and families to learn how to grow food in a fun, supportive setting.

Free Microgreen Kits
Every participant in our local workshops and programs receive a free kit to kickstart their home-growing journey.
